Seldes Katne joined UC in November of 2004. The "site mom" mainly participates in the fanfiction forum, critiquing works and helping others develop their writing skills. She also discusses books and is one of the advocates of the addition of a book forum. It's only natural, since she's a librarian. Seldes has been known to curtail some of UC's more 'out there' or inappropriate discussions, using her twin powers of modliness and ability to make posters feel like she's very disappointed in them.

Seldes appears to be a fan of Doc Samson and Ultimate Ben Urich. She also liked or likes Ultimate Thor, but seems very disappointed at his changes in Ultimates 3.

Seldes only sparsely posts, but when she does, it's always worthwhile.
